Co-Creation & InnovationLab: Working together to achieve a digital solution faster

In our Innovation Labs, we work with you to develop new ideas, prototypes and MVPs in a user-centered, validated and with a clear implementation perspective. Co-creation creates clarity, speed and products that exist on the market.

All around, icons and lettering for “Co-Creation,” “Innovation Lab,” and “MVP.” The scene visualizes collaborative ideation and prototyping in innovation workshops.
What we often encounter

Typical customer challenges

Departments & IT don't speak the same language

Silos are blocking innovation. Opportunity: Co-creation workshops bring IT and specialist departments together for a common vision.

Users are involved too late

Products fail because user needs are ignored. Opportunity: Early involvement through design thinking increases relevance & acceptance.

Failure culture is missing and blocks innovation

Failure is taboo, risks are avoided. Opportunity: Innovation Labs create safe spaces for experimentation and learning.

What we do

Our service modules

Isometric illustration in neon blue: Four abstracted people stand around a table with a digital plan on which a central house icon glows. From the house, lines lead to icons for process diagrams, speech bubbles and checklists with stars. The scene visualizes a moderated workshop in which target images, processes and prioritized solutions are developed together.

Interaction Room & Strategy Workshops

In our moderated workshops, IT and specialist departments work together to develop a clear target image, visualize processes and identify prioritized solutions. Structured formats such as the Interaction Room create tangible results instead of endless coordination.

Create a common goal between IT, business & specialist areas
Visualization of complex requirements & processes
Moderated, interactive workshop formats with a focus on decision-making
Prioritizing fields of innovation & solution approaches

Innovation consulting & ideation formats

Together with your stakeholders, we identify relevant fields of innovation and develop well-founded, creative ideas prioritized according to benefits and feasibility in structured ideation workshops.

Systematic development & evaluation of innovation ideas
Trend & technology radar for identifying opportunities
Structured ideation using proven creative methods
Decision-making basis for go/no-go in fields of innovation
Isometric illustration in neon blue: Four abstracted people stand around a table on which glowing light bulbs, euro and dollar symbols, gears, and a process diagram are visible. In the background, a checklist with an asterisk and checkmark. The scene visualizes an ideation workshop in which creative ideas are prioritized according to usefulness and feasibility.
Isometric illustration in neon blue: Four abstracted people are sitting at a table with a laptop and papers and discussing. Above them, a large glowing light bulb with a lightning symbol, next to icons for a process diagram and an idea in a speech bubble. The scene visualizes a structured innovation process from user understanding to ideation to the tested prototype.

Design thinking & user-centered development

We guide your team through a structured innovation process from user understanding to ideation to the tested prototype. This creates digital solutions that are technically feasible and relevant for your customers.

Iterative process: Understanding — Ideas — Testing
Methods such as personas, journey mapping & prototyping
Focus on real user needs & high relevance
Promoting acceptance & user loyalty through integration

Innovation Sprints & Rapid Prototyping

In short sprints, we jointly develop initial prototypes as a clickable UI dummy, simulation or technical proof of concept. Through rapid user feedback, we check ideas for usability and feasibility at an early stage.

5-day sprint: Idea → Prototype → Test with real users
Development of clickable prototypes, simulations, or PoCs
Early validation & insights before investments
Accelerated time-to-feedback & reduced risks

Isometric illustration in neon blue: An abstracted person points to a glowing cube with the inscription “MVP”, combined with icons for code windows, checkmarks and diagrams. In the background, a growing bar chart with an arrow. The scene visualizes the implementation and validation of a minimum viable product (MVP) as well as technical proof of concepts.

MVP validation & technical feasibility check

We support you in implementing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with a clear focus: Quickly test whether your idea offers real added value. In parallel, we check by Proof-of-concepts the technical feasibility for well-founded decisions as to whether and how further development will take place.

Development of marketable MVPs with core functionality
Test in a real environment — user feedback included
Technical analysis & PoC for feasibility
Basis for well-founded investment decisions

Cross-functional team formats & digital leadership enablement

Successful innovation requires the right culture. We establish cross-functional innovation formats such as innovation labs, hackathons or cross-divisional project teams. At the same time, we strengthen your managers through targeted Digital Leadership Enablement: practical training and coaching that imparts modern management methods, agile principles and error management for more innovative strength throughout the company.

Establishing interdisciplinary innovation teams within the company
Enablement of managers in innovation methods
Promoting an error culture & agile way of thinking
Integrating innovation into corporate strategy

How we work

Approach & methods

Our work is based on established methods and frameworks for innovation development. A selection of important approaches that we use as required:

rapid prototyping
We turn ideas into clickable prototypes early on for quick feedback, realistic tests and clear decision-making bases.
Innovation frameworks
Whether Design Sprint, Double Diamond or Lean Startup, we choose the right approach to convert creativity into results in a targeted manner.
Co-Creation Workshops
In moderated sessions, departments, customers & developers work together to develop new ideas in a collaborative, interdisciplinary and targeted manner.
Agile methods & MVP approach
Instead of big concepts, we rely on iterative MVPs. Testable results are achieved in a short period of time with real added value.
What we offer

Benefits with Codenius

Why should you choose for your web project Codenius choose as a partner? Here are just a few of the benefits that set us apart:

Interdisciplinary team of experts

Our moderators combine expertise from business, UX, IT and change for holistic solutions that inspire users and are sustainable.

Diversity of methods & structure

Design thinking, sprints, ideation games we bring the appropriate methods to focus creativity and achieve tangible results.

Innovation with acceptance

What good is the best idea if no one supports it? Through co-creation, solutions are created together with the people who later use or implement them, creating identification, understanding and acceptance. This is how innovation becomes lived change.

faqs

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between co-creation and traditional consulting?

Co-creation is not just a consultation, but a joint work process. Instead of recommendations from outside, solutions are developed in collaboration with customers, specialist areas and IT. This increases relevance, acceptance and speed of implementation.

How do we start a co-creation project at Codenius?

Usually with a focused workshop, e.g. in the “Interaction Room” format. There, we develop a vision, use cases and initial solutions together. This often results in a first prototype or an MVP roadmap.

How long does a typical innovation sprint last?

A classic Design Sprint runs over five days. For larger projects, we are planning multi-level formats with multiple iterations. First prototypes or validated ideas are usually available after 1—3 weeks.

Who is the best person to participate?

Ideally an interdisciplinary team of specialist departments, IT, customer representatives and decision makers. We help you put together teams and ensure a structured process with clear roles.

Is co-creation also possible remotely?

Yes We work successfully with virtual tools such as Miro, Figma and Zoom. All formats, from Strategy Workshop to Design Sprint, are completely remote-enabled and have already been successfully carried out in distributed teams.
